Recording under many aliases, Kuni’s musical focus is normally on future jazz and deep house music.

He used to be a joint member, with Tomoyuki Murashige, of the group DRP (Deutsches Reichs Patent).

In 1997 he started his own record label BSC (Bacteria Sound Commune).
