Founded Marquis Records (4) (later Marquis Classics) in 1981. Founder of Earl Rosen & Associates Limited. Owner of classical music publisher de Sade Songs.

Rosen was the Executive Director of CIRPA (Canadian Independent Record Production Association) from 1976 until 1987. He was the founding Executive Director of FACTOR and VideoFACT. Served on the board of SOCAN for over a decade and its President since 2012.
