Rob Caggiano joined Anthrax as lead guitarist in 2001 and remained with the band until 2005. He played with the group again from 2007 until the beginning of 2013, when he announced that he was leaving to concentrate more on production. Shortly after he left the band it was announced that he had joined Volbeat.
Rob also has produced a number of albums as a member of Scrap 60.
