British hornist and professor. Born in 1960.
He graduated from the [l290263] in 1977. In 1979, he was appointed Principal Horn of the Orchestra Del Teatro Alla Scala at the age of 19. He was subsequently a member of The Chamber Orchestra Of Europe (founder member and first Principal Horn), the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Philharmonic Orchestra before joining the Philharmonia Orchestra in 1991, becoming Principal Horn in 1993. Head of Brass faculty and Horn professor at London's Royal College of Music.
