After his stint in the short-lived rock band Spy, he then went on to session work and touring with the likes of Billy Joel and David Bowie. He moved from New York to San Francisco Bay area and ended up guiding a 15-year evolution of Pro Tools and its family of products, revolutionizing the audio industry, and garnering an Oscar for technical achievement. He led Avid Technology’s Digidesign audio division as GM for 6 years.
