South African-born composer and novelist. He was a member of the very popular South African band Mango Groove in the 1980s / 90s and moved to California where he became involved in music production for film and television. The numerous scores written by him includes those for An American Crime and Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema. He is also the founder of Lalela Music, a production music library which has been used in thousands of productions globally and was sold to STX Entertainment in 2017.
