Debuted in 1991 with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Awarded the German Echo Klassik Award in the years 1999 to 2001, during which time she with the Berliner Philharmoniker. Awarded the Preis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik in 2000, and in 2001 she won a Grammy for interpretations of Brahms and Strawinsky as part of The Academy Of St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
