Guitarist of
Modern Jazz - formed in 1980, produced a single in that year entitled In My Sleep (I Shoot Sheep) and later evolving into
Blue Zoo. They had a UK hit single in October 1982 called
Cry Boy Cry, which charted at No 13. It stayed on the UK Singles Chart’s Top 40 for eight weeks. The group disbanded in 1985. In 1986 Parry joined forces with record executive
Jazz Summers and formed Big Life Records. His involvement with this company also features on Raw TV Products. As a manager he has worked with, among others
Soul II Soul,
The Verve,
Snow Patrol etc.
