Younger brother of artists Martin and Glenn Turner.

In the early 70's Kim began his professional musical career within the extended Wishbone family, first playing drums with Miles Copeland-managed band Cat Iron.
He then played drums with Andy Fraser (ex-Free), before becoming guitarist and pianist for Alternative TV from December 1977 to May 1978. Kim then joined up and coming band the Police as road manager and sound engineer.

Sadly Kim passed away on May 12th 2003, following a brave fight against cancer.
