American saxophonist. Andrew Axelrad is an alto saxophonist with the Airmen of Note, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, his Air Force career began in 1993.
Axelrad's professional experience includes touring with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and playing in the Dallas Jazz Orchestra. His Air Force career highlights include performing in Central Command with BB Winans and Lari White, being featured with ukulele master Jake Shimabukuro, as well as numerous performances at the White House.
