American jazz tuba player. Brother of Gus Helleberg. Their father August was also a tuba player.
Played with Benny Krueger’s Orchestra, Castlewood Marimba Orchestra, Abe Lyman’s California Orchestra, Carl Fenton’s Orchestra and many others. Recorded between 1923 and 1930, mostly for Brunswick, but also for Victor.
