Sometime between late 1996 and early 1997 Kieren Hebden from Fridge decided he wanted to begin experimenting with DJ Shadow style sample-scapes. The rest of the band weren't too keen on the idea so he decided to pursue it as a solo undertaking. This was Kieren's first offering from what would later become known as the hugely acclaimed Fourtet project.
