Ben Lurie is a musician and graphic designer, best known as a member of the Scottish alternative rock band The Jesus and Mary Chain from 1989 to 1998. Born in London, he moved to Australia when he was four, returning to London, aged 20, to pursue his music career.

Lurie moved back to Australia in 2004, where he currently works as a graphic designer.
