Michael Lawry was a founding member of the Headless Chickens, playing keyboards, samples, tapes, and guitar from the band's inception in 1985. He left the group a decade later in 1995, following their Big Day Out performance in January of that year. Lawry, with fellow-former-chook Anthony Nevison, now composes music for film, television and elevators.
