Very well known as piano-playing member of Cockney singing duo Chas And Dave. They were also prominent session musicians, for example hit track Eminem [m=12114] (1999) contained its main hook taken from Labi Siffre I Got The track, taken from album [m=171737] (1975), on which Chas & Dave performed.

Following complications with cancer, he died of pneumonia.
