De La Soul’s Stakes Is High. His crew The Hemisphere dropped their debut album Performing Artz independently in 2001 winning Unsigned Hype in The Source Magazine, with the stand out song Ghetto Hallz which featured
Akon. Appearing on the Lyricist Lounge tour and signing with Sub Verse Music shorty thereafter, releasing Beatz in my lifetime volume 1.0 in 2003.
Tariq L. has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, The A3C Festival in Atlanta. He opened for
Jurassic 5 on a European Tour in 2006.
