English post-punk band, formed in Leeds in 1979, evolving from The Butterflies (1978-1979). They broke up in 1982. The core line-up was
Judy Evans (née Gaffney) vocals
James Alan (né Pritchatt) guitar
Gerard Swift bass.
The drummer was changed quite a few times:
Chris Oldroyd (1979-1980)
Paul Simon (1980) only appears on the Politics! single
Carl Harper (1980-1981) was injured during the recording of Pleasure so doesn’t appear on all of the album’s tracks
Rod Johnson (1981-1982).
