Canadian songwriter, promoter, manager, producer, and record company executive from Calgary, Alberta. In 1975 joined Sound West Recording Studios and its label Westmount Records as head of PR, publishing and A&R. Co-founder of studio Sundae Sound in 1981. In 1988 he sold his interest in the studio and joined Canada Disc & Tape Inc. as VP Sales & Marketing. Left Canada Disc at end of 2009. CEO of Digital Video Masters from 2000 to 2010. Owner of Doug Wong Music. Retired from the music industry in 2010.
