Swedish jazz trombonist and composer, born June 9, 1938, died May 18, 1990.

He led one of the most important jazz groups in Sweden in the 60s. Between 1967 and 1972 he was active at the Music Academy in Grazi Austria, among other things as a teacher of Improvisation. He also toured Europe with the planner Joachim Kühn. After returning to Sweden, he has worked with her own group.

He is the father of John Eje Thelin.
