Episodic contributor to Maximumrocknroll fanzine since 1986. He has been living in Strasbourg, Herat, Kitgum, Tirana, Ternate, Erbil/Hawler, Ahvaz, Rweishid, Dushanbe, Geneva, Goma, Pyongyang, Sukhumi/Akua, Cairo and Jakarta.

He also created the cover artwork for some of the releases on his label.
