Spencer Starnes (December 2, 1952 – June 29, 2017) was a Seguin, Texas native who moved to Austin, Texas in the 1970s and became a renowned bass player and studio engineer. He opened and was the owner of Bee Creek Studios in Spicewood, Texas.
