Hemophiliac was an international free improv experimental trio of
Mike Patton (voice & electronics),
Ikue Mori (laptop electronics), and
John Zorn (alto saxophone, voice). In June 2002, they presented a debut album, first in the Special Edition series on Tzadik label. 2xCD
Hemophiliac collection featured live recordings from various locations, and was released as a limited edition of 2,500 copies worldwide, autographed by all three artists, and only available through the Tzadik and Ipecac Recordings websites and directly from Downtown Music Gallery in New York. Hemophiliac also performed at Tonic on September 1, 2003 as a part of John Zorn 50th Birthday Celebration concert series, and presented one of the most focused and most intense live sets. It was released as
50⁶ Digipack CD album in August 2004.
