Massachusetts-born American multi-instrumentalist and tabla maestro/lecturer, an instrument he fell in love with during the eighties.
In 2004 he founded his own home-spun company, Tala Records, focusing on producing CDs, projects and tours presented by the artists with whom Ty is involved.
He presently lives between Boulder (Colorado), Maui (Hawaii) and Kochi (Japan).
