Recording, mixing and mastering engineer, and occasional percussionist, originally from Lafayette, Indiana, but has worked most of his career in Louisiana.
Farrell started engineering in the mid-1970s, and worked at Studio In The Country in Bogalusa early in his career. From there he moved to [l414182], then to [l2677952], and eventually to Ultrasonic Studios in New Orleans where he stayed for a long time, and which he owned from 2003 to 2005, until forced to close down after Hurricane Katrina. While still living in New Orleans, Farrell moved on to work at Dockside Studio in Lafayette.
