A well known disc jockey and occasional contributor of LP liner notes.

Born in 1924 in New Brunswick, Canada, Stewart moved to the United States and worked at a radio station in Idaho until he was drafted into the U. S. Army. He was a disc jockey on Armed Forces Radio Service (AFRTS), and produced a long-running big band and jazz radio show called “All That Jazz.” After his discharge in 1947, Stewart worked in Los Angeles at various radio stations, including KLAC, KMPC, KGIL, and KRHM. During his career, Stewart contributed liner notes for a dozen or so albums. In the early 1970s, he started a business called Music in the Air that provided audio entertainment for commercial airlines. He died in 1993.
