American multi-instrumentalist and arranger. Born April 3, 1938 in Wilmington, Delaware. Died August 17, 2010 in Lakeland, Florida.
Williams was a 1964 graduate of the Philadelphia Conservatory of Music.
Williams founded The Fall Guys with Don Rieck.
In addition to arrangements of popular songs, Williams was also a contributing symphonic arranger for the Simon Wiesenthal Foundation, a human-rights organization based in Los Angeles. He also composed an orchestral piece, Overture to Flight, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers’ flight in 2003.
