Formed 1980 by Priscilla Be and Mary Mullen in USA as a goth-folk band.
The band 1981 collaborated a record compilation Color The Reality produced by Mark Wheaton together with Strong Silent Types and others.
Priscilla Be moved to Berlin in 1983, where 'The Hesitations' continued to perform and tour and released a well received album ....Wait A Minute in 1987.

Later on both ladies developed their creative work as musicians, painter, poets, shamanistic work, theater acting, reading... and the band disbanded.
