French Lucile Chionchini was born in Lyon where she started to play the violin at the age of six. After her first diploma in chamber music and violin at the conservatory in Villeurbanne, she moved to Paris and studied viola with Bruno Pasquier and chamber music with the famous Ysaÿe String Quartet.
