He got into the music business in 1936. He was A&R head for [l62753], [l1005], and [l5320] in the 1950s, [l654] in the 1960s, and [l895] in the 1970s.
He produced jazz artists such as Stan Freeman, Betty Carter, Ray Bryant, Clifford Brown, Al Martino and many others.
He was instrumental in getting his friend
