An independent visual and performing artist based in Baltimore Maryland, Jerome's musical career began as part of late-1980s performing troupe “Alternative Cabaret,” alongside Sweet Alice (later of
Warrior Soul, as
X. Factor), Apache Dancing in Limbo, and career-long collaborator
David E. Williams. A student of The Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, he became known for his 1989 exhibition “The Stations of the Cross”, a photographic rendition of the passion and death of Christ.
