Internationally known for his song King and Queen aka Kingston Town covered by UB40. Settled in Jamaica in 1962, the year of Jamaican independence. His calypso, [m=692657], was commissioned by Vincent Randy Chin to celebrate Jamaica's independence and was licenced by Chris Blackwell to become Island Records first release.
Received Jamaica’s Order Of Distinction in 2022.
