The Brooks are a Canadian funk and soul band formed in 2013 in Montreal. Led by bassist Alexandre Lapointe and fronted by vocalist Alan Prater, they are known for their high-energy performances and blend of funk, soul, R&B, and jazz. With several releases and multiple awards, they’ve earned recognition as a key act in the Canadian funk scene.
