Belgian recording, lacquer cutting and mastering engineer (Lier, 5 April 1948 - Lier, 10 July 2021).
Co-founder and owner of mobile recording studio and cutting facility Foon in 1972. This eventually became Foon Mastering Center and remained in operation until 2011, when it was succeeded by Flemish Masters (operated until 2015). In the early seventies, Paul also did recording jobs for Tamara King Studio and worked as technician for the BRTN.
During the early years of Foon, his cuts can be recognized by FP (short for Foon Paul) etched in the runouts, sometimes accompanied by the year. After 1977, when he was the only remaining engineer, he took to just etching the company name.
