Born in 1980, Rafael Payare is a Venezuelian conductor. He is a graduate of Venezuela's renowned El Sistema music school. He currently is the music director at both the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal (Quebec, Canada) and the San Diego Symphony (Califoria, US).
