Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Debbie was one of first female members of Parliament-Funkadelic with Jeanette Washington in 1976. Joined Jeanette and Mahlia Franklin in Parlet in 1978. Left the group the same year before the group’s first album [m19681] was released.

Before leaving in ’78, she appeared on most of George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic’s biggest hit records including [m15841] (1975).
