Jac Holzman in 1958 and became the company’s first combination engineer/producer. In addition to music production, Abramson directed art films and Elektra’s short films promoting
Love and
The Doors. After leaving Elektra, Abramson became more involved in the visual arts, and his photography, paintings and sculpture have been exhibited in numerous galleries.
