US rockabilly singer, born 23 Sept. 1938 in Illinois - died 7 July 2002 in Tennessee.
He grew up in Elmhurst, Illinois, met and joined a group called The Twilighters as lead vocalist. Then he signed for Esta Records. In very late of 1960s/early 1970s he settled in Nashville, TN and was involved with the country music scene, mainly as engineer at studios like [l402175] and [l345352], often collaborating with
Billy Sherrill or
Larry Butler.
