Bassist, keyboardist and recording engineer, born 14 December 1950 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Founding member of The Nits in 1974, left the band in 1981. Started a recording studio in 1982 and also works as a graphic designer.
In 1989 he released under the name A•L•X his solo album Tenderness Of Cranes.
As Michiel & Alex he released in 2009 together with Michiel Peters, also a former member of The Nits, the album The Odd Men Out (On The Poppy Parade).
