Pathaan gave up a respectable career working for an airline to pursue his growing interest in DJ'ing and music. In 1997 Pathaan set up the label Stoned Asia. He has also evolved his own musical incarnation together with Italian producer Gaudi as Orchestral World Groove, as well as producing and remixing himself.

Pathaan is the the founder and owner of Globetronica as well as the current label manager of LSD - Liquid Sound Design & Dragonfly Records.
