The Group Malbrook has developed in 2003 from the CD project Malbrook of Wolfgang Meyering. After the production of the CD, harpist Merit Zloch, the bagpipe and nyckelharpa player Ralf Gehler and the singer and mandolaplayer Wolfgang Meyering decided to stay together as a group and to play concerts. Since 2005 the violinist and singer Vivien Zeller is a solid fourth member. In 2008 they released the CD Qwade Wulf.
