Carr was previously a member of the band
Creation and survived the deadly Gulliver’s Nightclub fire in 1974. Two members of Carr’s band, keyboardist Damon DeFeis (brother of
David DeFeis and Doreen De Feis) and vocalist George D. Chase, were among the victims.
