Australian composer, pianist/keyboardist and teacher.
Co-composed the ABC news theme song, along with Peter Wall, used for about 20 years by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (the Australian government's broadcasting news service) until 2005. The composition was remixed by Australian outfit, Pendulum, into a 2010 dance music hit. It was revived by the broadcaster in August 2024.
Born in Sydney on February 21, 1945.
Died in Sydney in November 2000 (cancer).
