Veteran Muscle Shoals, Alabama sound engineer known for his work with Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett. He has engineered sessions with Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, Wilson Pickett, Willie Nelson, Dire Straits, Canned Heat, Levon Helm, Sam & Dave, Millie Jackson, Dr. Hook, Sister Sledge, and many more. He is also a songwriter, sometimes collaborating with longtime friend Cris Moore. His career began in 1971 at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio; he was still active as of 2015.
