Paul Charles (born 1949, Magherafelt, Northern Ireland) is a Northern Irish novelist, music promoter, and talent agent. He moved to London when he was 17 to study civil engineering. During this time he took on the multiple role of manager, lyricist, roadie, sound-engineer and agent for the Belfast band Fruupp. When Fruupp disbanded, he formed Asgard Agency with associate Paul Fenn. In 1996, he began writing detective novels and has also published several non-fiction books about the music industry.
