As a violinist (December 27, 1932 - May 13, 2011), he performed widely throughout Europe and the U.S. as part of the Goldman-Brown Duo with Carolyn Brown on piano. He was also active in the music recording industry from 1973, appearing in several classical, pop, and soundtrack recordings. He was married to fellow violinist Marilyn Harris.
