He started his studio career at [l266623], where he trained as a sound engineer, before beginning his Mastering career in 1997 when he was put in charge of Nomis’ new mastering facility, Sonix. Here he worked on releases for the likes of
Lauryn Hill,
The Orb and
Lee Perry.
He moved to [l87246] in 2002 where he learned his trade as a cutting engineer, and it was here that his mastering career really took off, working on releases for the likes of
Lily Allen,
Kasabian and
Keane.
In late 2006, he set up Fluid Mastering with
Nick Watson.
