In mid-1928, Dalhart signed a short-term exclusive contract with [l1866]. At that time,
Frank Luther began using this pseudonym, usually with guitar accompaniment by
Carson Robison. Luther is thought to have continued using this alias through the latter part of the 1920s. Since this alias was used by at least two extremely prolific recording artists in the 1920s-30s, efforts should be made to identify the correct artist performing on each release.
