Popular comedy duet from the German Democratic Republic. Active from 1953 (first public performance) until 1981 (death of Herricht).

Their act, written by Preil, was centered around situations where Preil, the educated and arrogant straight man would try to explain something to the less bright, but lighthearted funny man Herricht, which would lead to funny misunderstandings on behalf of Herricht.
