Born and raised in the Los Angeles. He has over 30 feature film scoring credits, about 300 published and recorded songs, including a nomination for a Golden Globe award for Best Original Song in a motion picture. Early in his career, Jerry composed dozens of songs, often along with Guy Hemric for beach movies starring Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello. He has worked with hundreds of artists and bands including Stevie Wonder, Osmonds, The Supremes, Ricky Nelson, Eddy Arnold, etc. His varied career has also included musical assignments in Europe and Japan and spans many musical genres from country to symphonic.
