Australian percussionist, drummer, born in Santiago, Chile, lived in Italy, before settling in Australia in 1972.
He holds a Master of Philosophy in Music degree from the ANU (Australian National University) and is a senior lecturer and head of Contemporary Music Performance at the Faculty of the Victorian College of the Arts, part of the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Has frequently worked at Metropolis Audio (also known as Metropolis Studios, the former AAV studios).
